A week ago today Rafa Pabón released his new single titled “Bandido”, with a profound message about inequalities growing up in rough neighborhoods. In an exclusive interview for Telemundo’s “EN CASA”, he elaborated a bit more on the message behind his trap song, “We often judge people, but we don’t really know where they come from, and (Bandido) is a reminder that the government needs to focus more on education in these neighborhoods, so young people can see they have other options to success not just being in the streets”, he told Telemundo. Rafa Pabón is a huge advocate for social issues, his last single “Sin Aire” tackled racial injustice following the George Floyd and Black Lives Matters Movement.
Check out this fun and entertaining interview, he even sent the Telemundo anchor cute little cupcakes, what nice touch.
