SiriusXM Interviews Jay Wheeler and DJ Nelson on “La Curiosidad”

In an exclusive interview, Jay Wheeler and legendary DJ Nelson sat with SiriusXM’s “One on One” to discuss the creative process behind the hit song “La Curiosidad”. Talking about his take on creating music, Jay describes that as he enters the music studio it is always with a clean slate mentality, there is no concept or even lyrics,  he simply  likes to start the process from zero. Expressing the success for what “La Curiosidad” meant for his rising career at the time, Jay Wheeler shares with the public his reason for releasing not one but two remixes, detailing how he always wanted to create a song with legendary icons of the reggaeton world who he has always admired like Arcangel, De La Ghetto, Zion and Lennox but that he also wanted to include artists of the new school as was the case with the BLUE Remix which featured reggaeton artists like Lunay, Rauw Alejandro and Jhay Cortez.  

DJ Nelson added to the interview emphasizing that shortly after the remixes project was a go, it became a collective group effort and everyone in Jay Wheeler’s team took a hands-on approach towards its success making it what it is today.
